Thanksgiving Giving Back: How TeamWRX Supports Local Communities
At TeamWRX, our mission extends far beyond the workplace. We believe in creating meaningful change in the communities we serve, especially during the holiday season. This November, our teams across Atlanta, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Savannah came together to embody the spirit of giving. Through acts of service and thoughtful partnerships, we demonstrated what Thanksgiving giving back at TeamWRX truly means.
Atlanta: Partnering with Thrive Academy
Our Atlanta branch joined forces with Thrive Academy Atlanta to bring a warm Thanksgiving lunch to children and families in inner-city Atlanta. Thrive Academy focuses on serving kids living in poverty, and our team stepped in to make the holiday feel a little more like home. Volunteers from TeamWRX helped serve meals and create a welcoming environment, showing our continued commitment to uplifting the next generation.
Dallas-Fort Worth: Supporting Evolve's Thanksgiving Meal
In Dallas-Fort Worth, our team partnered with Evolve, a transitional living facility that empowers families on the path to stability and independence. TeamWRX helped cater and support Evolve’s Thanksgiving meal, bringing joy and nourishment to children within the facility. Our involvement allowed staff and residents alike to relax and celebrate the holiday together, reminding us all of the impact a shared meal can make.
Savannah: Donating to the Salvation Army
Meanwhile, in Savannah, the team launched a food collection drive in support of the Salvation Army's Thanksgiving efforts. Teammates and local partners donated non-perishable items to ensure families in need had what they needed for a holiday meal. The initiative was a powerful reminder of how small contributions can make a big difference when communities come together.
